Cognitive symptoms

Cognitive symptoms of schizophrenia are related to the ability of someone with schizophrenia to think and “often make it hard to lead a normal life and earn a living”.⁷ They include:

• Problems in using information to make decisions⁷
• Lack of attention⁷
• Poor concentration¹⁴
• Poor memory⁷¹⁴
• Difficulty in expressing thoughts¹⁴
• Disorganized thinking¹⁴
